Instant Jalebi

Jalebi holds a special place among all Indian Sweets, Isn’t it?
This Quarantine is making me crave for Jalebi a lot. Crispy, flavorful and juicy Jalebi make my mouth all watery. This lockdown is making me so bore and cravings for Jalebi was hitting another level. I have not eaten jalebis since January and now things have just got out of control and I cannot wait more.
So we made this Instant Jalebi so quick that you would never thought it to be true.
Ingredients
1 cup Maida
1/4 cup sour curd
1 tsp baking soda
Saffron few Strands
Water as required
200 gm Sugar
100 ml Water + as required
Method
Add sugar and 100 ml Water to a pan and make a single string sugar syrup.
Add few strands of saffron to sugar syrup. keep aside.
Mix flour, curd, baking powder, few strands saffron together with water using a whisk, there should not be any lumps and batter should be thick.
Fill in a piping bag.
Deep fry until golden and crisp, in medium hot oil. Keep flame to low
Dip hot jalebis in sugar syrup until they soak the syrup.
Take out on a plate, garnish with some Shredded Dry Fruits and serve Hot.
