Vegan Banana Bread

A banana bread is a scrumptious way to eat and get nutrition from bananas. Satisfy your sweet cravings and pleasure the taste buds with this simple yet delicious banana bread.

This is a very easy recipe, with basic ingredients available at any household. It’s very quick to make egg-less not too sweet and just perfect with a cup of tea or coffee.

Moist and delightful with loads of banana flavor, it will leave you wanting for more! A super-tasty afternoon tea treat, enjoy with a hot cup of tea or simmering coffee.

Ingredients

  1. 2 medium sized ripe bananas 

  2. 90 gm whole wheat flour

  3. 60 ml oil

  4.  35 gm granulated sugar

  5. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  6. ¼ teaspoon cinnamon powder 

  7. A pinch nutmeg powder (optional)

  8. 1 teaspoon baking powder

  9. ¼ teaspoon baking soda

  10. 15 ml Milk or as required

Method

  1. In a mixing bowl Mash Bananas until smooth.

  2. Then Add Sugar and whip until sugar is dissolved.

  3. Then add oil, vanilla extract and milk. Mix well.

  4. Sieve dry ingredients i.e. Flour, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon powder and fold them into banana mixture. It should be a thick batter, add more milk if required.

  5. Bake in preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until a knife/ toothpick comes out clean.
